Videst Premium Hybrid (Wind+Solar+Grid) Power

power involves the use of silicon based Solar panels to tap
energy from the sun to generate electricity.

This form of power generation is very appropriate in the sub
Sahara region where we have abundant sunlight all through the
year. Just like the wind powered systems, solar powered systems
are noiseless, environmental friendly, causes no health hazard,
available 10-12hrs/day with 6hrs/day of effective solar radiation
(Energy from off grid systems are stored in Deep Cycle batteries

Videst Solar/Power Inverters

Inverters are electrical equipments that convert energy from DC
(Direct current) to AC (Alternating current) and vice versa. Inverters
act as the means by which power generated by wind/solar or
battery sources (DC) are transferred to a form (AC) which can be
used by most office and household appliances. Most inverters
come with an inbuilt charging system which also converts the AC
voltage from the National grid or fossil generator into DC voltage
and stored in batteries as backup. This technology is customised
for Videst's use in the wind/solar systems to provide backup and
stability to the system in the period of fluctuating source presence.

Videst Deep Cycle Batteries

Deep Cycle Series batteries are designed to have a large amount
of stored current discharged between charging sessions, with
very heavy non-porous battery plates to withstand repeated major
discharging and charging cycles (deep cycles).

Deep cycle batteries typically feature on thick plates with a
high-density active material. Thick battery plates allow for reserve
energy to be stored deep within the battery plate and released
during slow discharge such as trolling or electronic instrument
use. The high-density active material ensures its existence within
the batteries plate/grid structure longer, resisting the normal
degradation found in cycling conditions.

They are typically used where the battery is discharged to great
extent and then recharged.
